We Run This City

pitching the swoosh

“We Run This City” is a conceptual mobile app designed to connect people who are passionate about running and other sports activities within their local communities. It aims to be more than just a fitness tracker, acting as a social hub for individuals to engage with their city’s active scene.

The app focuses on three key areas:

  • Community Building: Fostering a sense of camaraderie among users by allowing them to connect with others who share similar interests, join groups, and participate in discussions. This combats the often solitary nature of individual fitness pursuits.
  • Discovery: Providing a platform for users to discover local events, races, clubs, and training programs that match their interests and skill levels. This helps users explore new opportunities and expand their athletic horizons.
  • Progress Tracking: Offering tools to track and analyze personal fitness progress, including distance, pace, and routes. This allows users to monitor their improvement and stay motivated.

By addressing these three areas, “We Run This City” aims to create a holistic and engaging experience for users to connect, discover, and achieve their fitness goals within a supportive community. The app envisions a more active and connected populace, where individuals feel empowered to participate in their city’s vibrant sports culture.
